I've just tried this version (080820) on an amd64 running debian and
can confirm it worls well for me (where recent versions were giving
a seg. fault).

nb: I notice the .shimrc in the tarball is empty (and with an old
version in $HOME/.shimrc, lacking recent additional variables, that could cause
a problem)

Thanks for making this available.  It all seems to be working well
now.
