[ts-gen] version update/database migration

Hi.

I'm using the shim release 080616, and use it for getting intraday historical data.
I've got few months of 1 minutes data now, and I don't want to loose it ;), so I was wondering what will happens if I upgrade the Shim into the latest version ?
After reading the announcement of the triple 8 release, it does not seems good for me, am I right ?
