Paul,

Thanks for the quick report.  I'm not sure how that file got into the
release, but clearly I made some kind of mistake in pulling together
files, running the regression test suite, and rolling the tarball.

Thanks for catching it, and I've pushed another tarball with the
obvious fix you pointed out.  I'm continuing to look at the code for
other issues.
